give me an old fashion bookstore

With the closing of the international bookstore chain, Borders, and a flood of independent bookstores across America, one woman is flaunting the trend and opening up a bookstore in Nashville.

Ann Patchet is a best-selling author of five books including the prize-winning Bel Canto. Disappointed to see so many traditional brick-and-mortar book shops vanishing in the electronic tide, she teamed up with a publishing veteran and with their connections and experience in the book industry, they plunge in where many have climbed out.

While many have moved on with the electronic frenzy of picking up an e-Reader on which one can download 'books' and erase when done, there are still strong followers of the paper book who want the complete experience from browsing the book shops, personally buying a book, reading it and keeping it in a bookcase. The appreciation of the old fashion print version signals that the print industry will not die out anytime soon.
